Not so much horizontal but in a 45deg position preferably facing foward with the outlet facing downward because there is a pick-up tube inside the bottle that runs from the outlet valve to the bottom of the bottle but on one end not the center of the bottle. This end is toward the outlet side of the valve. I don't know if I 've made any sense but basically mount it facing foward with the outlet facing not only the front but down. The bottle brackets should give you a good idea. The higher part toward the outlet. :thumbs:
This position gives the pick-up inside the bottle to get all the nitrous out from the lowest part.

I believe that you can mount it vertically if you so choose. But how many people have that luxury?? I know my trunk isnt' 24" tall. The only problem you will see is when you bottle gets low because of the pickup tube, it would be better to have it on an angle but how much better?? Not that much I would think. :cheers:

All the bottles I've seen want the decal facing up or to the front. The pickup tube goes to the bottle bottom then curves away from the decal. They are oriented this way for correct mounting. I mounted mine straight up, decal fwd. You can do a 45 degree also, but the decal must be up and the bottom of the bottle to the rear. Sideways will work also. It's a G-force issue. Can't get a can of spray paint to work when it's inverted right? :thumbs:
