86 Glass Top ( HELP )

Hi my 1986 coupe late model glass top is cracked Iv been told other years will fit but can any one tell me exactily witch years will fit thanks :cheers:

84, 85, and early 86 are the same. The mounts changed in mid 86. You need to compare to an early or late to see which one you have. :chevy

84 to early 86
late 86-88
89-96

They all have slightly different front mounts on the windshield header. You can buy the mounts for the later years and retrofit them to your car. Or try searching ebay for a top.

Ok so your saying that A 1986 to A 1988 will fit fine BUT A 1989 - 1996 I will need diffrent mounts ?? :cheers:

Correct, L86-88 will fit without modifications, a 89-96 top you would have to buy the header mount and new header trim pieces and retrofit them to your car. :cheers:
