'89 A/C control glitch
After I've driven my car with the A/C on and restarting the car after a short period of time, the electronic A/C control that was in the OFF position before I started the car, will be in the auto setting, the read-out will dislplay 75 degrees and the fan power level reading will indicate 00. These readings are similar to what happens when power to the controller is disconnected. Has anyone had similar problems to this? If so, what were your solutions? The electronic controller is a new (refurbished ) unit from a GM dealer. I never had this problem with my old controller. Any ideas to solve this problem?
