I don't know what a muffler place would , but I bought the s.s Y pipe from mid america and did the install myself. It took about 2hrs.no leaks, no problems and noticable power increase.

I got a bad unit from MAD so returned it and had a local custom performance exhaust shop custom build a 2 1/2" SS mandrel-bent fromt Y, install a new hi-flow cat and customize (so it would fit!) my TPIS cat-back for $300.
I would think that a good shop could do the front Y for maybe $100-150, using 2 1/2" SS with mandrel bends.
