Okay need your advice. Buying one or the other probably tomorrow. Any ideas which one is better. Either one have tendency to squick more than the other. And any major fitment problems. Doing suspension next weekend. Thanks everybody. :)

Re: Energy susp. or Prothane bushings? (BAM92)
Heard lotsa good about Energy. Thats my plan as well. Heard that it helps to assemble with some lube to prevent squeeks. Also use spray silcone as required.
Re: Energy susp. or Prothane bushings? (JrRifleCoach)
If you go with ES, try to get black, since it has graphite impregnated to supposedly help reduce squeaks. They cannot put graphite into the other colors.
I used Prothane bought through Vette Brakes 3 years ago. I had to do a lot of fitting work. They have been mostly squeak free so far. I've used only a couple pieces of ES - no problems.
Re: Energy susp. or Prothane bushings? (Bluevette85)
In the process of installing the Energy Suspension kit here. No fit problems at all so far. Found Summit Racing to have the best price for this kit.
Bought my ES master kit from Summit. Black, graphite impregnated. No problems with fit. Used a lot of synthetic marine grade grease during the install. No squeaks. Great improvement to the ride quality (i did revalve my fx3 bilsteins at the same time)
Customer support was excellent. Had to get a metal sleeve sent, one wasn't the correct inside diameter. No problems, they sent it out quick. Screwed up on the front upper control arm bushing. Had to destroy the ES poly bushing to get it off. Called them up, and they sent me a replacement, even though it was my fault.
I ordered energy suspension kits for the front and rear through the Vette Mags- put the rears in and it was a breeze. The hard part is getting/burning/pressing the old ones out. http://www.suspension.com I believe is the cheapest place for urethane parts I have yet found (ordered the differential carrier bushings from them), and they're quick to ship.

Same here. I replaced my worn out shocks w/ new Bil's.

Good to hear. I have the rears installed already and plan to do the fronts soon.

That's the truth! :yesnod: Most of my rear end bushings were stuck to the parts b/c of oxidation deposits. :(
