Electrical problem - hatch open light
When I apply my parking brake, the hatch open light comes on along with the parking brake light. Any tips on where to start to correct this problem. It never did this before, but then I did some significant engine mods etc. and now it does it.

I pulled the engine and trans (it's an '88) and rebuilt the engine and installed an ROD 6 speed. Engine rebuild: ported stock heads with big valves (2.02/1.60)-10.25:1 compression, 1.6 roller rockers, ZZ9 cam, miniram, SVO 24# injectors, MSD, modified MAF, AIR pump delete, new alternator, Bosch +4 plugs, TPIS Level VI PROM, true dual exhaust, etc.
