Default bumper question

I need to get a new front bumper for my 85 C4, and I'm wondering how much they generally cost. In a corvette mag I found laying around, I saw a front bumper to the nighthawk body kit, and the picture looked kinda cool. Any feedback on the nighthawk kit? I also love the front ends on the newer C4's, can I get that without getting the rear bumper to go with it?

Well I paid $500 at the dealer like 6 years ago. I believe that style is no longer available from GM. I would figure about that price though. I dont know too much about the stalker kit other than it looks cool if you do the whole kit. You can mount just the new front but the moulding will not match on the side of the car. If you do both, you need to change all that moulding. The whole transformation to the updated body costs 1500-2000 not including wheels.

I bought a brand new GM front bumper for my 85 on EBAY. There is a body parts company that sells 'em all the time. I paid $219 "buy it now" plus like $50 for shipping but I think they raised the price last month to like $229+s/h. Its a great deal, its a truly new bumper- not repaired. Whether or not its a GM I dont know- they specifically told me it was a GM part when I asked via telephone.
