Catalytic Converter - Engine temp up!!
Changed my catalytic converter yesterday and drove last night only to have my enginge temp at 225. Usually at night my temp stays at 190. Along with that I'm getting a strange scraping sound from under the car whenever I press the gas. During idle-no sound. Anyone ever have this problem?

Did you change it yourself? Normally, the symptoms you describe, the noise, would indicate a loose converter heat shield of some sort. I'm not that familiar with our car's catalytic converter set up (yet :rolleyes: ) But I would get back under the car and check to make sure everything is tight and installed properly. The increased heat sounds like their could be a leak. I might be reaching here, but if it's loose, and there is a leak, the result would be a lean condition and then hotter temps. Right?
You didn't mention, but is the car throwing any codes?
