Can anyone identify these?

Can anyone identify these?
I have changed the chip in my ECU, (in dash passenger side), and I cant remember where these things fit - any ideas?

Those look like the clips on the sides of ECM wiring harness connectors. The ones on my 86 are very similar if not identical. My ECM has two connectors on it and each connector has two of those clips.

These are also on the digital gauge cluster. I am guessing they had a problem with pins backing out of the connectors and these stop that from happening.

:iagree: on my 87 also... go in to hold the harness to the ecm connector.. only fit one way... so should be easy... :thumbs:

Yup--everyone's right--they hold connectors together so they can't unplug on their own.

Those are wire combs. They keep pressure on the connector contacts to keep them firmly seated in the connector.

Iv'e seeen these before :eek: :eek: just about every eletrical connection in newer cars use those type of connectors. Those look like they go to the digital dash or the computer. :flag
