My mechanic should correct it pending he is the one in error I guess that’s what i am trying to fig out any ideas on what it could be? Please any ideas I am at really trying to learn more about this stuff!

My trans did the same thing, and this is how I fixed it, hopefully it will work for you, or maybe you need a new valve body.
I turned the TV cable all the way up, I can't remember which direction that is, I think its with it all the way towards the throttle body. This put as much pressure on whatever valves are supposed to open for the shift.
I took it out and really romped on it, and nothing happened, until I let off the throttle at about 30 mph, and it shifted REALLY hard, but the point is that is shifted. I took it straight home and changed the fluid.
That was 7,000 miles and 120 hours ago, and it's still working like a champ.

Usually when this happens the throttle valve is stuck within the valve body (or the cable is broke or badly adjusted). Probably just some crap binding up the valve.

Sounds to me like your trans governer has broken the plastic gear on it.
I forgot about that, that was the first suggestion my trans shop suggested, and it was a real PITA to get the governor out, and it ended up not being the problem. I would try the TV cable first, then go onto the governor.

If you lost all the other gears at one time, then it is the governor gear, broke or stripped. If you cannot find the broken pieces, when you take it out, don't worry about the pieces floating around, they won't hurt anything.
