my 92's rear spring is going south, rapidly... 121k miles has take its toll...
however, I called contemporary corvettes to get a spring, and they need to know the numbers on the spring... well.... I looked... and all I could see is where a sticker might have been.
any ideas on how these springs are marked???? where????
An NYR or RCA will be appropriate for your application. If you can't come across one for a reasonable price, let me know as I might be willing to part with my own. $150 is too much for a spring that every FE1 corvette from '85 to '95 came with...
It's stupid, because contemporary should have the spring info on hand for you in the first place...
btw- How do you know the spring is bad? They don't exactly wear out all that easily. I was running an '84 rear spring for a few months last year, and it's 20 years old.

It looks a lot like a piece of plywood that has been run over by a semi... it's delaminating in a big ugly way.

Thanks for the data!!! That's what I was looking for! I remember the NYR code...
I agree... CC was a bit on the useless for customer service this time. I may call Vettes2Vettes... see what they got...
