OH CANADA ZF!
Anyone in Canada! Do you know of a shop that repairs ZF trans?
I have the syncro rings but do not have the 40,000 lbs press to remove the gears. I have contacted Corvette Specialties in Surrey but they will not quote until they have the assembley apart :banghead: ???(*(& sounds like
I was thinking of taking the trans down to the gear assembley and then take it to a shop to press the gears off/on then reassemble.
Any help /input is appreciated

Just got the note to stay away from corvette specialties ... I thought it was not kosher to say they could not quote on labor to replace the syncro rings. :bs

When you find a shop that you're happy with please let the rest of us Canadians know! Mine is working fine right now but it's good to have a plan if it dies. Like you I would rather keep it in Canada to avoid the shipping/exchange/customs crap at the border.
