I have done a search on this subject and come up short on my question. My 88 has a procharger on it so I have plugged the PVC and been running valve cover breathers on it for a while now. The car has full length headers through 3" mandrel exhaust, no cats, and Borla's. The car had an evac. tube in the drivers side collector when I bought it but I never ran it. If I hooked it up do you think my exhaust is free flowing enough not pull a decent vacuum on the crankcase? I also am contemplating using an LT1 smog pump for low speed evacuation as well as aid in the high rpm stuff as well. Will evacuator in one collector work or should there be one in both?
Think long about the air pump thing. Not that simple.
I am by no means arguing with your reply I was just wondering if you could offer a few points to ponder that I am probably missing here. I saw a procharged big block this past summer with one line tapped into each valve cover and they Y together and went to one of those LT1 pumps. I didn't talk to the guy but that was the only evacuation system that I could see he had. So it just got me to thinking about it.
