Will have to doublecheck. If you do an internet search with his name, youll find it.

Some other corvetteforum members (I may be wrong, but i believe tjwong was one of them) steered to his setups.

Sorry, difference over stock. Don't know what a diamond back reflective kit is, but I do know I'd change from stock to the Hella again.

I dont know anything about the diamond back kit fiberglasscoffin is showing. But I do know the Matrix Diamond Back Headlight Conversion kit is crap compared to the Bosch e-specs. It may go by a different brand name other than matrix now. Whenever I see the name Diamond Back I think back to the crap lights I had, and do not have good memories. To me Diamond Back means cosmetic...not function.

The Hella e-specs are good too, but the Bosch e-specs are a little better since its better suited for low-mount height (According automotive lighting expert Daniel Stern). The Bosch e-specs also do not have the stupid guard over bulb tip. You dont need it due to the e-spec lo-beam pattern, and the black paint already on the top of the H4 bulbs.

If you want to see the road, go Bosch e-spec, relay kit, and CLEAR 100/130w bulbs from a reputable manufacturer. I have been through 4 headlight combos, including true HID. This is the only one I feel confident driving fast at night with.

Be careful some headlight kits give you the impression of amzing lighting. But its all up close lighting. Downroad lighting is nonexistent. They give you a false sense of security. They might be great for driving through the neighborhod at 25 MPH, but are useless for anything past that.

:banghead: IMHO You city boys (urban generalization) don't have a clue of what your projecting down the road at night. My roads are mostly two lane with no street lights. I need to see that piece of road your lights (read retina-burners) are blinding me from viewing. Not to mention the unbearable glare and dazzle your projecting beyond what you can see. The industry gave us a second bulb for long distance viewing that is called "brights". This was an added feature so when you needed extra power you could switch it on for the moment. The cops used to give tickets for driving with your brights on! Nowadays, its hard to tell the difference between dims and brights, not to mention the dolts that drive lifted SUVs with replacement blubs in their fogs and 4 to 6 lights to add even more unnecessary glare in the oncoming drivers face. :mad The industry standard for maximum lumens was raised for the aftermarket's wallet in the name of "safety". But Hey! I installed some offroad H4's in my aux lights for dark road travels. Now when the oncoming clown is trying to lightup JAPAN...... click! DAYTIME!

Ok... whew! I'm better now.

JrRifleCoach:

Thats the beauty of the European spec (e-specs). Your low beams have a cut out in the approaching lane, they dont get your 100 watt low-beams in the face. Even though there is a cutoff in the approaching lane, your lane is still lluminated fully, and still enough of the oncoming lane is illuminated to give you a good sense of peripheral lighting. I have not been flashed once with this 100 watt/130 watt setup.

The hi beams, though, are *****-out lighting without any cutout/or courtesy for your 130 watt hi-beams.
