i need help with some performance mods, what else should i do?
i found a crate motor for my 85. it's a forged 383 stroker full roller motor with a modified TPI system that has 440hp for $5000 shipped. the install's going to cost $700 max, and i plan on getting polyurethane engine/trans mounts(about $200?), and a shift kit($200). what else would be a recommended buy? any chassis work, trans work, exhaust??? I know i'll need a trans sooner or later, but it's been rebuilt last year and has a 2200 stall converter, so i figure it'll last a while at least...anyone have any ideas or advice? i'd appreciate it, thanks
