Are slotted rotors directional?

Most rotors have a big fat L or R either on the outside or inside. Look closely as it is often so obvious that you can overlook it. :-)
Some manufactures have regular patterns, and some like Baer have a reverse pattern.

Because of the angle of your photo, I can't tell if the hats are the same height.
If I remember right the rears have a shorter hat then the fronts.
Anywho, if there both the same outside dimensions, then you might need to clean & scrub the inside of the rotor, & the hub surface. In fact you really need to do that anyways!
You need a very-very-very flat surface to mount those rotors, or you'll have excess runout. To much runout will lead to a pulsating brake pedal, and uneven wear.
