Anti Venom,
It looks like there isn't much overlap in the hotcam (-1 degree @ .050")...if I was on a budget and already had the cam, I would try it in my blower application. Let me know how it works out.

Haloe,

any LT1 cam will fit in your car.. all 87 up factory roller blocks use the same hydraulic roller camshaft style. might have to adjust the dowel pin in the end a little bit is all..push it in or out etc etc.. 5 second operation.

i have a 95 vette running a lingenfelter 219/219 L98 special just cause i had it on the shelf while refreshing the motor to 355 CI. hotcam is a 112 LSA.. also ran one of these in another car.. the specs with 1.6 rockers are 218/228 .525"/.525" 112 LSA straight from the cam card these are at .050". i think it would be a great starter cam for a blown setup... the durations aren't that large, its a split duration style camshaft with 10 degrees more on the exhaust side, the lift is not overly exagerated and the overlap is not too bad. all in all, i made about 375 to the wheels with the hotcam and some ported heads N/A, and ran a 12.12@119 mph... drop the compression and add some BOOST and lookout.. think it would make for a fun ride. hope this helps!

Thanks you all for the help??? I have decided to go for a comp cams with these spec.
Duration @ .50" is 220/230
lift with 1.5 rocker is .510/.510 LSA 114

My car is equipped with 1.5int/1.6exh rockers so the actual lift in my case would be .510/.544

What do you think about this cam for my engine?? :steering:

Like I posted before, if you decided to go with TJWONG's cam idea I do have a 215/220 532/544 LPE cam that I am not using since my blown 383 with ported AFR 190's needs something bigger. I am using a 224/236 544/555 instead. Just an idea. Don't mean to confuse you as everybody has a different idea of what cam you need.
