I am mostly interested to know when the vettes got the 4l60e instead of the 700r4.

I believe 94 was the first year..
I know 93 had the 700R4(some call it a 4L60) and the 95 has the 4L60E

Yes but later 700R4 were improved, 30 spline vs 27 spline and toughened up in some way . 84 1/2 up - (I think)
