Default Need some advice!

Need a little advice on the next mod.
The car is an 86 coupe that is used for autocross/road racing and very rarely hits the dragstrip.

Here's the specs that i'm working with:
406 ci
good heads
solid roller cam 222/234 .532/.535
12.3:1 compression ratio
headers, with 3" dual exhaust
auto with shift kit and 3.33 rear gears
weiand stealth intake and holley 850 doublepumper

Car has outragous low end torque, but could stand a little more top end.
I can sacrifice some, but not all of the low end torque that it's got as I still need to be able to pull out of the corners.
I am just looking for a little longer pull down the straights.

I'm considering going to a cam with specs more like 248/248 .599/.599
I'm also considering going with a SuperRam or MiniRam intake.
I would need an aftermarket computer as the stock computer and all wiring has been removed.

My questions:
1) Should I make the cam change, intake change, or both.
2) Will the SR or MR have an increase over the carb setup i'm currently running?

Car with 3.07 rear gears ran 12.67 @ 108.

Have you seen the single plane intake Jeb is making?

Either of the "Rams" will limit the top end capabilities. Particularly the SR. Personally, *I* prefer injection, for a whole bunch of reasons, but your carb will have more top end than these. As suggested, are you aware of, or considered, the SP, jburnett is working on? The cam change you outline, WILL boost the top end at the expense of the bottom end. *I* think that is a little extreme. You might shoot for something in the middle, approx 236* -240* @ .050". A 222* to 248*, jump, is HUGE. Good luck, and...
