Camber Brace is Here!!
Just got my Camber Brace for my 87 that I ordered from Dave at R-D Racing on his Christmas special. Got free delivery because I selected to wait till after the new year to get it.
Had no idea that Dave was going to be so fast with the shipping. WAY TO GO DAVE!! :cheers: :cheers:
Now as soon as the snow melts and the temps warm up, I can get it installed.

the camber brace is great. im curious how the alignment is done because it bends the horns when tightened. The brace has to be loosened to add/remove shims so it kinda confuses me. I havnt gone to the alignment shoppe since ive reinstalled it so well see how it goes.. :confused:

I don't know how they did it, but I had my 86 aligned with camber brace to the advanced street specs and love it. I also have a harness bar to go along with it. http://www.vbandp.com/instructions/h...ruct/align.htm

I had mine realigned after the install & it actually caused a reduction in shims needed. One thing though... if you have no doughnut the bar can slip down during the alignment & rest on your water pump pully. :nono: Had to lossen it twice to swing it back up where it belongs. Should have heard the screeching of my alum. pully rubbing the bar. The alignment guy thought something had frozen & the belt was slipping or something. Luckily only a minor scuff on the corner of the pully... :smash:
