New O2 sensor = bad milage
I replaced my O2 sensor, while hunting an unrelated problem. With the old sensor I could just manage 25mpg. Now I can just barely get 23.
Should I put the old one back in? The car is a lo-mileage 1985 Corvette with the 700R4. I cannot feel any difference between the two sensors, but my indicated mileage definitely went down. Should I leave it alone, and say that I used to run a little lean? Or will the new sensor change in a couple of hundred miles?
