I've just gotten curious about some of the values my scanner allows me to see. My car's an '88. The two values I'm curious about is the IAC, ESC, and the BLM values. What exactly are these values measuring and what are considered good readings for pretty much a bolt-on setup?
Thanks and sorry for the dumb questions. Mechanically I can usually hold my own, but when it comes to computer programming and scan values, I'm not on the up and up yet.
Get this book "Motorbooks How to Tune & Modify Chevrolet Fuel Injection" my Ease rep. recomended it to me, its been a great supplement to my GM manuals and its helped me to learn alot. :seeya
They had it at Barnes and Nobles. Picked it up today. I also noticed a much larger book called Corvette Fuel Injection or something like that. It was all about the fuel inj systems on the '82 and up cars. It was about 300 pages or so. Tha might be next.

I'll probably pick it up next weekend. I couldn't let myself spend a total of $60 on books today. It was 20 for the How to Tune and Modify Chevy Fuel Inj one, and the Corvette one was 35. Still not too bad, for as much info was in it.
