Brake Light question
On my 86 the brake light on top of the hatch doesn't work how do you get to the blubs to check them? I thought I ask before I broke something!!

Under the rear bumber, you need small for arms to reach any of the lights back there.
He has a coupe, the third brake light is on top of the hatc.
Take a T-25 I beleive and open the hatch and you'll see the torx bit on the underneath side. Undo those two bolts and then close the hatch. And pull up on the brake light housing. You'll be able to access everything. And those bulbs aren't cheap. I'd check continuity of the wire as well to make sure it's not a pinched wire.

Thanks guys I was hoping you could just pop off the lens but I guess not. The car has just been repainted so the 3rd eye is clear coated to the hatch. I guess I just take a razor blade and cut around it I dont want to pull the clear coat off the hatch! I'll check the continunity before I do that though.
