Default Idle voltage the same with bigger TB?

Are the factory idle and voltage settings still valid when a 52mm Throttle Body is installed in place of the 48mm?

I don't understand what you mean by "valid". Can you please explain?

Ahhh, ok, there is a certain voltage, .525 I believe, required to have the TPS properly adjusted. Does this value change with the addition of a larger throttle body?

Edit: I deleted "WOT" from the original post as it wasn't needed in the question.

 Just my HO, since I have never seen this question raised or addressed on the Forum

The voltage just represents the angle of the butterflies (or blades, take your pick) and that should not change with the wider inlets.

So I think you should be fine

The TPS voltage range remains the same.

.54 volt +/- .075 meaning anything from .615 to .465 is within spec.

You may have to adjust the minimum airflow setting using the screw on the throttle body to get the best idle, transition from idle to part throttle and back again.

set it to the base of .54, then you may need to adjust it when doing your final tuning :yesnod:

Thanks Jake, the "total one", and the others for all your help. I wasn't sure and figured it better to ask, than to jump in the water without knowing how deep it was.

I've made some pretty stupid mistakes over the years, ya know, from doin' just that.
