My 93 vette (stock Lt1) has begun to take too long to start after the car has been run (fully warmed up) and parked for a while.
From a cold start, it cranks over immediately and runs perfectly.
The problem is that it takes considerable cranking to re-start after the car has been driven and parked for a while.
I am betting that it is a fuel delivery problem as I have found that tapping the gas pedal results in a quick start.
Any advice on what to look for would be appreciated.
Just form your symptoms, I would guess that your injector(s) are leaking. You need to put a fuel pressure guage on the schrader valve. There is a procedure for checking the fuel system including injectors. Post back if you need it.
