Check Engine Light Codes
Code 52: CalPack ( Faulty, Missing, Installed Wrong )
Code 53: Over Voltage
Code 54: Fuel Pump Voltage To High or Volts to Low
Can someone please explane to me what the hell all the codes are. On the CalPack I have no idea what that is and the Over voltage it doesnt say what is Has to much voltage and the fuel pump i might can fix that myself tomorrow. But if anyone else has had code 52 or 53 can you please explain what can be done to fix them. Thanks.

You sound like candidate for a service manual. I din't find any of those codes in MY manual. Are you SURE it's a 1984? Good luck, and...

That's better. Where did you get the interpetation of those codes? Those codes don't even exist in my '84 book. I know your computer is different than mine, but I looked, to see if I could help. The reason I asked about the source of the interpetation, was, I didn't think the term, "cal pak" was used until quite a few years later. An educated guess, says you fried the computer, ECM, or cal pac, as it may be. At the risk of repeating myself, you need a service manual. Good luck, and...

just for grins, did a check on my 87 codes and the only one that shows up is the Code 53: System over voltage: (This code indicates there is a basic generator problem, code 53 will be set if the voltage at the ECM terminal B2 is greater than 17.1 volts for 2 seconds & check & repair charging system...
