Help with heater on climate control....
Not too many people understand how the climate control works but I'm hoping some tech heads takes mercy on me,
Since I replaced the little (cheesy) plastic clip on the servo for the air mixer/blender door in my 86 all has been beautiful, AC that is...
but......It's been cold under 60-50 a few nights and I hit the heat button and the air mixer servo doesn't run to allow hot air in, it just blows outside air, doesn't matter what temp you set it to, then after a while it starts working,
Not sure what triggers it to decide to work.
I don't really think it's the air mixer servo since when the temp is warm out all works fine,
Anyone have a clue what would make the air blender not want to work in colder weather.
One shop "Jerry rigged" the ground wire of the cabin temp sensor,
Could this be a culprit?
