Advance has them (2151s) for $453 coated, just saw them in their catalog today. Make sure that you get them coated. Looked under the 89 last night, mine were painted and they look bad, not going to be fun to clean and coat now.

Once again, here is the rundown on Hooker headers for 1984-1991 L83 and L98 Corvettes. Keep in mind that the basic configuration of all three part number is the same. Same flanges, same tubes, etc.
2149 >Coated. Smog hook ups for AIR pump, O2, and EGR.
2151 >Not coated. No smog hook ups. An O2 bung would have to be added or a collector with an O2 bung, used.
2151-1 >Same as 2151 except coated.
Bear in mind that the Hooker coating is to the outside, only. Many people have bought the coated Hooker headers and been happy. Others have had their Hookers coated, after purchase. (THAT sounds kind of kinky.)
You won't beat the Summit or Jegs price by much, unless you find them used. Good luck, and...
That sounds pretty optimistic, to me. It depends on what you have done to the rest of the engine. If you haven't done or plan to do quite a bit, *I* think the 1 3/4" primary tubes are too big.
Had to make a new back alt brace for my '89 when I had the headers on it, not too hard to do. They seem to fit fine for most people, not everyone has had good luck with their y-pipe however. Jegs has them for about the same price also.
