TB Gaskets-2 Types,Both ok to use?
When I bought my fel pro kit for doing the intake swap,it came with 2 throttle body gaskets.One is dark grey and has 2 large cut out holes that match the TB blades holes perfectly.I used that one since it matches stock as always.
The other is a greenish gasket that has the same 2 large holes but doesnt seperate them completely.Halfway down the gasket is cut so both holes sort of join together.I never used this one.
Can I use the Green color gasket with no problems?I assumed they were for the later C4's.I had to take the TB back off again to do some more work and my local stores dont sell the gasket alone.Instead of buying the entire fel pro kit or ordering just the TB gasket online/or from someone,I wanted to know if this green TB gasket can be used with no problems?I just wasnt sure if it would cause any vacuum leaks between the blade holes or affect the IAC passage.

Just saw your post. Bill. Haven't been on a lot lately; in the fence repair business after a windstorm blew down a few sections.
I've never even seen a green TB gasket, much less used one. The ones I have are all grey.
I've choose the one that matches the openings of the TB and plenum rather than run the risk of a mis-match.
I believe I have a new one I can mail you if you need it. Let me know. I believe NAPA sells them individually.

Hi Jake,
Yeah I think I can get one from Napa...however,their website shows the one I wasnt sure about using and going to try it anyway...dont see the stock style one on their website.
Oh well,anyways ill send you an email with the pics of the gaskets so you can see what I mean.
