I've "heard" that they sometimes can, but I have not experienced it myself. Some of the LT1 guys go to an LT4 knock module. I would think one properly adjusted there was much less chance of that happening. Have you proved that you are you experiencing it?
Re: Will Roller Rocker cause false knock? (scorp508)
EASE showed me that I might have it. It shows me a "slanted sine wave" on knock counts. I have DIACOM and WinALDL and will see what those render, but I was interested in opinions and stories regarding this issue. Its raining here today and I don't think I'll make it out there today.

Re: Will Roller Rocker cause false knock? (GRX)
The LT4 knock module is a good, cheap upgrade for any LT1, especially with roller rockers. The LT1 module was overly sensitive by design. 28 bucks at GMpartsdirect.com plus shipping. It'll prevent unnecessary timing retard.
