Ras, thats pretty normal...check out the mustangs when they have their hoods open and are running...same thing. With the hood closed, you should not be able to hear them...if you can, there may be other issues like way to much fuel pressure or wrong injector type/setting

I have them on mine they tick .I reduced fuel pressure and they quieted down a bit.But they are noisy.
