2600 Stall Converter
I'm looking into one of these and I was curious of what it will do performance wise to my car. How much faster in the 1/4 mile? and how much bigger of a punch will i feel when I stomp on it? I figure if im going to get one i might as well get a transgo stage two shift kit as well, so overall how much bigger of a leap will this give me?? Thanks....

I have one in my car,,, It is a different beast.... The shifts are tighter and when you punch it :eek: :D

mods you can do.....let me put it this way...the C5 guys better know how to
shift gears fast because you won't be behind them any longer....but you need to get tranny cooler also...and shift kit....and you will have a very competitive street car :flag
P.S. I have 2600 stall stock motor ....after I got use to driving with higher stall I would recommend 2800 stall..........

This is a mod you will be happy about. I have the 2600 lockup Vigilante and the car has a very impressive launch. Nail the gas and you are gone. I have yet to get beat off the line by anything, really. Of course I am not stock but even a well tuned stock L98 with a nice stall is hard to beat off the line. You will need some good stickies outback or you will just spin.
