I found a guy in Northwest Pa. who runs a streetrod business who is great with fiberglass body work, suspensions, mechanical, and I not sure what all else. He has won a couple of awards and his work is first rate. I am going to have him do some work on my '85, mainly suspension work including a total urethane bushing kit install, new u-joints, and rear wheel bearings. I have a couple of questions: what is the best complete bushing kit to get? and has anyone bought the $105 bearings from eBay from The Last Detail? Are they made in the US?
I got bushings from him and he beats any other place I looked at. Especially the Vette specific vendors that you're aware of. He sells Energy Suspension and Prothane. You can get the complete kit or parts for C4s.
i went with a hyperflex kit from suspension.com, also, sway bar bushings, and a few other little things
havent had it aligned yet, but all i can say is..wow..feels like a different car, rides like on rails, but the trade of is a bit in ride comfort, but i like the go-kart feeling :D
