Was it working before you replaced the clutch? Did you set the air gap between the outer hub and the pulley at .020? System needs 50 psi of pressure for the low pressure switch contacts to close allowing juice to flow to the compressor. How cold is it? Below 50 degrees and it's going to need some engine heat for the system to get to this pressure and if the charge is low, it may never get that high. A quick test would be to momentarily jumper the low pressure switch connector with a paper clip. The switch is on the Evaporator at the firewall. If the compressor comes on, have it pressure tested.
At first, it worke,d but was noisy when first engaged. Then it stopped working altogether.
I replaced the A/C clutch.
When I turn the A/C on.. nothing.
The fuse is OK.
Any suggestions?
Ohhh! Same thing is wrong with my blazer! hmm....
I checked the voltage from the A/C clutch connector. Nothing between the two, nothing from either one to ground. Guess it's time to get out the wiring diagrams to find out what the problem is.

For you Blazer, try the same thing - jumper the low pressure switch. Also, later Chevy's use a clutch plate that is pressed onto the shaft. They like to work loose so check the air gap if its noisy. If it's too wide, buy the special tool that's needed to press it back on until the gap is at .020.
This may sound stupid, but something similar happened to me(my temp adj didnt work). I would first check to make sure the push rod/wire that connects the adjuster to the main AC system. Is it OK and functioning (I believe its on a cable pulley system like the temp control......otherwise check out the Chiltons Book for some great diagrams of the system.
