I just started the SuperRam install last night and already have some problems! First off I bought the superram used and it came with lid bolts and plenum to runner bolts but not any runner to intake bolts. I thought I could use the stock ones until I noticed that the center bolt of the runner pairs was way too long. I also screwed them in slightly and set the runner onto them and it would not mate up with the bolt holes correctly. What size bolts should I buy or can I use the old runner to plenum bolts. i am sure I will have more questions.
I just want to make sure I have this right before I try again.
1. Install runners without fuel rail on
2. Valve covers are off when installing and reinstall them after install
3. Start the two bottom runner bolts
4. Set intake runners on them with gaskets(covered in "the Right Stuff")
5. Install the rest of the runner bolts tighten but not completly
6. Install plenum and tighten down runner bolts
7. snugg all bolts up
8. Install lid and tighten bolts
9. Install TB, valvecovers and sensors Etc.

You've got it very close. When you start the middle bottom runner bolts you have to put the gaskets in place as the bolt goes through them. I personally have not had to use the right stuff on my gaskets, but I've known so many people who have needed it that it probably is a good idea to use it and just spend the $30 or so on a spare gasket set "just in case".
I have found it best to tighten the runners down 1st before dropping the plenum box onto the runners. I then finger start each plenum to runner bolt about 3 threads before tightening a single one of those.
If you haven't yet I highly highly suggest running a tap through all of the plenum to runner holes and the plenum lid holes. This made installation about 3000% smoother on my car. :yesnod: When I first installed it the plenum to runner bolts were SOOOO hard, but after cleaning threads out they were so smooth going in.
You may also find that you have to grind a few thousandths off the top edge of your valve covers. They will many times rub on the runners and be nearly impossible to get on. Just a quick hit with a grinder should take care of that.
The best tool I have found (and was recommended to get) so far is a snap-on ball ended M6 hex wrench. It allows me to install the runner bolts without removing any of the exhaust rockers.
Don't forget to run your cables back down before you bolt your plenum down. (Your kick-down cabls runs behind the runners)
I also opted to run my injector wires behind my runners as it made it easier for me to attach them to the injectors. This of course requires you to seperate the injector wires from the rest of the wiring hatness that runs along the top of you valve covers.
