My original motor blew up, and I had it replaced with a 383 crate motor that I tweaked with. It's an old style block, not a newer style. I think the old one's had a 2 piece rear main seal?. I have a ZF 6 speed with a DRM single mass aluminum flywheel with a B&M ripper shifter. I have a centerforce dual friction that is slipping. The part # for the Centerforce df I am currently using is DF039000. Maybe I'll get another one, maybe a Mcleod.
My car is a daily driver that sees some track time each year. I will be running nitrous and be on drag radials at the track.
What clutch would be the best for me? I don't need a clutch that'll hold up to 1000 hp or something nutty like that. I also doubt that I'll be running slicks anytime in the near future.
If I go with another clutch like Mcleod or SPEC, can you give part #'s I can check into?
