WS Wiper not adjusted correctly

WS Wiper not adjusted correctly
My 88's wipers (both sides) go off the edge of the windshield. I pulled the arms to adjust them one notch but they are "keyed" so I can't do that. Is there another adjustment in the linkage somewhere? Do I need to file the side of the key a little?

My 89 GM Helms manual has an adjustment procedure that has about seven steps. Rather than type it out, I will take a digitial picuture of the page and email it to you.......if you want it! Let me know, Sam

Go to the "help" forum, then practice in the testing section.

I found the article by looking in the GM Helms index (in back of book) under windshield wipers. This led me to section 8E1. My motto: Help others when you can, for one day.........I may need some help!! SAM

Hmmm My manual starts the WS wiper system on page 8E-1 but does not have this information or any illustrations showing the parts mentioned. I would be grateful if you would email me the illustration. I can't post it, I don't know how either.
