Re: Pull Motor with transmission question (thetoy)
I have a new motor 420 in the works (It will be here this week)
I dont know what the orginal owners did to the motor? Ive been told that the motor has been rebuilt, but I have noticed valve float about 3500 RPM and leeking a small amount of oil.
Then my roomate (98 WS6) and other friend (98 C5) keeps picking on me.
My Superram been sitting the the garage for about 2 years. My buddys have been calling it a big paper weight.
My transmission has 160K on it. Im having problem with the overdrive, leeking oil and Im sure it will go out after the motor gos in to place
All in all I want to make sure everything is up to par when I take out or goto the track.
Re: Pull Motor with transmission question (Coupe89)
24" should do it; but you should raise the entire car, not just the rear. If your jackstands won't go that high, put some 2"x4"s or 2"x6"s between them and the car.
