Default Help! Code 33/34, used to be full time, now intermittent!

 Code 34 was on steadily, did the tests/diagnostics per the Helms and wound up replacing the MAF relays!

Car ran better than ever for a few hours, then threw a code 33. I cleared it as per the diagnostics and it won't reset :(

I drove it several hours, no code 33!

When I got the codes, 33 & 34, it felt like either the ignition or the fuel system shut down three times, very rapid on and off!

Car continued to run, but sounded like 7.5 cylinders :(

Now that I have cleared this apparently intermittent code, it runs great again

Anyone have similar experience?

Intermittent codes for the maf are usually caused by relays when they're about to head on to the mystical place car parts go when they die. If you've replaced the relays, it could be wiring. Check the connectors dealing with the maf, especially the ones to the relays. It could have been them all the time and plugging a new relay into the connector helped make a better connection. Check for corrosion and grime.
