I Bought this one and its not a bad piece at all. Once I get the time I am fitting it where the resonator used to be. The worst part about this is it is stainless steel so you gotta find a heliarc welder. I plan on posting pics and stuff.
the cores are too far apart for that to just work. you'll need to either use some S-bends to mate it up, or just weld the exhaust to it at hard angles.

I have that exact Magnaflow x-pipe but in 2.5" to match my Corsa catback.
Someone who has installed an x-pipe... what did it do to the resonance inside the car? And what about the sound outside the car?
With the windows rolled up, the resonance inside the car is loud in the 3000rpm range when you get on it. Above and below that, it's pretty mellow. Outside the car it sounds awesome. I had a porsche owner tell me that my car is the best sounding vette he's ever heard.

Cool... X is on my list :D . When i do the LT headers, I'll have that done at the same time.
3" R/T metal matrix bullet cats in and 2.75" Borla catback out. There is a lot of resonance at certain R's, not bad at 65 or 70 though. I don't have anything to compare it to accept the original stock exhaust on the 350 motor.
I will say though when you jump on it this set up sounds INCREDIBLE  Oh yea, and I set off alot of alarms in parking lots at idle :smash: :lolg: :lolg:
