This may sound stupid but having a slow early style tach, I can't rely on it when accelerating quickly. Just cruising it is fine.
I usually let the car shift itself on the 1-2 but the 2-3 I like to hold a little longer than the auto shifts itself. I was considering a shift light for this reason.

Personally, I am not. There is nothing wrong with the idea, however. I am sure that many on here are, they just haven't spoken up, yet. Go for it. Good luck, and...
