I'm replacing my straight duals with no cats back to stock, but I would like that deep sound that I had with the old exhaust.....I saw in ecklers oline store a set of kbd targa mufflers that looked real nice...I wonder if anyone has them or heard how they sound????
I have the painted/chrome targas. If you want a low rumbling sound...then thems the ones you want. I think they sound great w/o being overly loud. However, I have only had them on a year and the chrome is starting to get splotchy rust. Go with the stainless steel if you can afford them.
:iagree: i have them also. the chrome on mine are starting to rust too. guess that's what i get for driving it in all the snow/salt we been having :banghead:
here's a couple sound clips if interested: IdleReving
btw, on the idle one, after a few seconds i get inside the car to give people an idea what it sounds like on the inside. oh and i have the stock exhaust with no cats
anybody have any idea what these weight compared to other mufflers. i would like to go to muffler eliminators for the reduced weight but that may be to loud with LT's and no cats :smash:

these are just as loud as muffler eliminators would be. they are practically just straight thru pipes, but they give you a little more rumble. i have no cats and it's pretty loud but i love it. people can hear me a mile away. i listed a couple sound files up above of mine if u'd like to hear it.
