First of all I would like to thank Troy Roberts for making this possible. Our goal on the forum is to answer questions and sell parts. We are going to do our best to help people in the Corvette community like we have done for so many years. We are going to be very active on the Roadrace and Auto-x forum because that's what we all love. From time to time we will be active on the other forums as well. Our other goal of selling parts, will take sometime but running specials and getting more advertising on the forum can't hurt. Here is some contact infomation for everyone who doesn't have it already. Thanks for having us on board!!!!!!!!!!
DOAH!!! After all the $ I've spend with DRM... now they might offer discounts?? Oh well, can't say I havent' been satisfied with all the parts.
Although... I did want to talk to them about the debri left inside my chassis bar. On hard turns I can hear junk rolling back & forth from side to side inside the horizontal bar. Pretty annoying... :(
I'm glad to be here on the Forum. I would love to give out parts but I can't. I'm sure you guys and girls can understand that. I have been thinking of different ways of helping the community out. I'll keep everyone posted.
So Randy about my chassis bar... any ideas on what I can do? You might want to mention it to your fabricators to shake the metal shavings out of the tubes before welding them up.
I was thinking about drilling a small hole on the bottom side towards each end & spraying some expanding foam inside. Then quickly take a spin around the block (both directions) to get the debri to stick in the foam.
With it right there behind your head it makes quite a bit of noise rolling around inside.
I'm glad to be here on the Forum. I would love to give out parts but I can't. I'm sure you guys and girls can understand that. I have been thinking of different ways of helping the community out. I'll keep everyone posted.
Thanks
Randy Rippie
One way to help is $$$$$$ off. I don't think anyone is asking for free parts, just a price break over and above whatÂ’s offered to the general public. That’s one of perks of being on the forum and buying from a supporting vendor.
You can sell one at regular price or ten at a discounted price, and still earn a ton of profit. The choice is yours.
Re: DRM IS NOW A SUPPORTING VENDOR!!! (neverendingproject)
Welcome! I have many DRM products on my car. DRM is the only company that I have bought parts from that were better than expected every time. I also like the fact that Pete @ DRM has offered to make certain parts that were not yet developed.
I think a lot of supporting vendors offer a discount to members, then run specials. I've been procrastinating on buying a bias spring and the early C4 adapters for the J-55 brakes. As you know the later is offered by another company which shall remain un named here. I could be "convincedand swayed" to stop procrastinating with some coaxing  :smash:
Welcome to the forum. I'm sure you know of the power of some of the group discount special purchases that have gone on here. LOTS of merchandise can move very quickly.
Welcome to the Forum!
Now I am glad I held off on getting some parts from DRM. I still have some rear suspension parts to purchase. Looking forward to seeing how DRM helps out the Forum community.
