i am not so sure they are for c-4 corvettes i thought the hookers for those years had a break in the flange i could be wrong :cheers:

Yeah can't you get these new for about $330 from summit -the nickel plating which I think on these is nothing more than a sand blast job with some paint at most maybe? :confused:
This means with shipping right now the headers will cost around $250.00 If it goes up in the final min as most auctions do, I see the difference in cost from new and these being $40 maybe. I'd rather spend the $40. just my .02
Cork is also right the Hookers I've seen have no flange between one of the outer pipes and two inners. I'm am by no means an expert.

back to the question, the ceramic coatings we use are best for thermal wear but they tend to flake off eventually and then your headers rust
the electroless nickel is supposed to prevent that, but it doesnt have the thermal properties of ceramic, in other words its not supposed to be as good

Another question, why the hell are headers so much? Im ean hell the 2149's are $650 with the fittings, and ceramic coating,,, why. you can turn around and buy 2151's for a mere $350, why so much less? are welding the ait tube's that much more?????? :confused:

You also notice they got square port injection? Mine (like all 2151's) i have circle ports... Wierd huh?
I was wondering if they just painted them or something!

I'm also looking for headers, in the mall they have the 2149's for 539.95.
