Problem installing TPIS headers Help
I am having a bad day. When I went to hook up the Y pipe it looks to me like the stock Y pipe on a 89 has a little turn to the left , the Y pipe they sent me is straight Y and isn't evan close to lineing up to the cat. Then i ordered new stainless steel header bolts from Summitt, you guessed it sent me 1 inch instead of 2 inch at $90 for the bolts. Last but not least the workmanship on the TPIS headers leaves a lot to be desired. :smash:

:lurk: hmm, I am going to start my install hopefully this weekend, this isn't giving me any more confidence. Hopefully the many people that already have done the install will be able to help out here.

I was going to order a set this week. I'd love to hear how this works out for you fellas. I hope this ends up being easier than it sounds.

The main thing would be there Y pipe is wrong and the headers have a dent in them that I can tell was there before they were coated and the gobs of weld in the exhaust holes. I hope you have better luck then me
