Is there supposed to be a pcv valve in the breather line on the passenger valve cover? Mine does not have one.....Just on the drivers side.
My LT-1 only has the PCV on the driver's side, and just a hose that connects to the throttle body on the passenger side.
From what I understand, the passenger side works by pulling gases out of the crankcase from vacuum, like at idle, but the pcv valve on the drivers side opens under positive crank pressure releasing gasses into the intake directly.
Hmm... I thought the breather tube on the passenger side was twofold. The main purpose is to carry fresh air from the TB to the crankcase (while the driver side tube and PCV valve carry blowby gases from crankcase to intake). So it's a circulatory system. The second purpose is to carry excess crankcase pressure back to the TB if the PCV were to become clogged.
BTW anyone know the typical service interval for a PCV valve?
