Fuel Pump Question
What are symptoms of a bad fuel pump? Is there anyway to do a test before replacing one? Would any of the symptoms apply to this post??

If you don't have one then buy yourself a fuel pressure gauge for $25 or so bucks at autozone that is on a 2' hose. WIthout it you're shooting darts with a blindfold.

If you are getting proper voltage at the pump contacts, and can hear the pump coming on, then check pressure at the rail. If you are getting proper pressure at the rail, (around 38-42psi i believe) then your problem is else where. If you arent gettting full pressure, you need to check your fuel lines for restrictions. If you find none then my guess would be the pump is defective
