i disconnected my knock sensor and put my ezlink scanner on and about 2ooo rpms i get about 20 degress of retard when the knock sensor is hooked up i get 5 degrees of retard at about 3ooo rpms. i was getting retard i thought was my headers was hitting the frame. i don;t hear pinging or anything. my o2 sensor shows the high reading of 720 at idle i was told it should go to 0-999 back and forth. timing is right on at 6dbtdc fuel is set at 43psi with 21# injectors from 5-0 motorsports. everything is new all ignition , fuel pump filter you name it as it . i am stumped the car is off the road for the winter so i can't drive it yet could it be the gas?????

the knock sensor is designed to pick up JUST the frequency that is a spark knock.
did you use a gas stabilizer last winter when you parked the car? it could have gone sour on ya... if it HAS gone sour, it would loose the octane rating... so if 93 was now, oh, say, 88, that could cause your problem.
how much is in the tank? depending, I would add some fresh and a bottle of octane boost.
