automatic transmission shifting problems
Just took a long trip to NY. 8 hours non stop and noticed the automatic tranny in my 84, when shifting from 1st to 2nd....seems delayed. 2nd to 3rd seems fine....in the low 20's mph. But seems to skip second gear. The fluid is full and cherry red, just being changed and the transmission doesnt have 10,000 miles on it yet, being rebuilt. Any ideas anyone? Thanks

Cherry red clear? Or opaque? This doesn't sound good, either way. Get it back to the trans shop before it's out of warrantee. Good luck, and...
