Voltage Reading

I have a 1996, which has been connected to a Battery Tender over the winter. I replaced the the battery in October 2003 with an original equipment ACDelco battery. What should the voltage reading be when the corvette is being driven?

~14 volts.

The alternator when cold will put out 14.5 V when cold or at first start up. As the unit warms up, the voltage will drop to 13.7 to 14.1 V which is normal operating without any accessories running.. Expect voltage drop at least another .5 -.7 volts with accesoories when warm.. 13.0V- 13.2V.. acording to GM this is normal...Hope this answer your question....
